I woke up late this morning. Turns out I can no longer party like my 18 year old self in the night and expect to be fresh in the morning. I guess that is my body’s way of telling me that I am 26. Oh well !
I ended up skipping breakfast, but I did have a pretty delicious lunch. I ordered from my favorite place for light eating – FreshMenu. They have a new menu everyday and have also started a Fit and Fab section for low carb and high protein selections. I opted for Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken with Brown Rice. This was my first time eating brown rice, and I quite liked it. The dish came with a side of sauteed vegetables, including multicolored bell peppers, zucchini and broccoli, which perfectly balanced the meal.
I had the food at around 2pm, and that is all I ate this day. Intermittent fasting continues!
I am planning to go to bed early, so that my sleeping schedule becomes normal from tomorrow again. Good thing that it is finally weekend, and luckily for me, this Saturday is an off.
So I am going to catch up on some much needed sleep and rest well. Because tomorrow is another day to hustle! 🙂
